Shabi Zaraya. Creator, screenwriter, director, comedian and host. For the past eight years, he has created television programs for Endemol Israel, formerly known as Kuperman Productions. Today, he independently develops formats for various television channels, both locally and worldwide.
He is currently working on three new formats: A docu-reality surrounding the wedding phenomenon called "Wedding Movie", a daily drama about the world of stand-up called "Punch" and a game show called "The Leech".
The following are a few of the formats that he has created and directed in the past few years:
THE LOVE CAR
New. No air date.
A single woman is set to fly on a couple's romantic vacation to Thailand in three hours. In the car, as she drives to the airport, she meets five men, one after the other, on "ongoing blind dates on wheels". Finally, when reaching the airport at the end of the three hour drive and having gone through all five dates, she must choose who will fly with her on her romantic vacation to Thailand.
LIVING IN LA LA LAND (Seasons 1 & 2)
A docu- Reality. Two seasons. YES Satellite Television.
Six Israeli singers travel to Hollywood, California with the dream to "make it" and gain international fame. There, they live together in one mansion and compete to win a recording contract with the world acclaimed music production company Geffen Records.
Each season consisted of 52 Episodes. A total of 104 Episodes. The first season won the Israeli Academy Awards and shortly after its premiere, it became the most talked about television show at the time in Israel.
A docu-reality. 40 Episodes. Aired on YES Satellite Television.
Seven "Home Made" cooking restaurateurs fly together to England for a cooking competition. At the finale, the Queen of England's chef, Mr. Albert Roux chooses one dish to include on his menu and to be served at one of the three star Michelin restaurants that he owns.

HALL OF FAME
Musical Reality. Two months of live broadcast. 17 hours per day. Music Channel 24.
12 famous Israeli singers, live together under one roof in Israel's "Big Brother House". They are filmed for 24 hours a day, while competing with one another for a recording contract and thus a "musical comeback". One of the most popular programs in the history of the Music Channel.
THERE ARE GIRLS
Musical Reality. 50 Episodes. Music Channel 24.
12 all girl bands compete to win the title of "Dana International's Girl Band", Israel's legendary pop singer and winner of the Eurovision contest.
WEDDING SINGER (Seasons 1 & 2)
A docu-reality. 30 Episodes. Music Channel 24.
A program that accompanies an engaged couple and their wedding singer, on their "big day" - their Wedding Day.
The program was a great success and aired re-runs for many years after.
HEAD OF THE CLASS
Game Show for children. 26 Episodes. FOX Kids.
Children in the 4th to the 6th grade, compete in trying to finish high school in five minutes. They answer 12 questions, each representing a grade level (1st- 12th). The winner is crowned "Head of the Class" and wins a trip to Euro Disney (Paris).
